Madame Butterfly is a recurring character in Oswald.
Madame Butterfly is the maternal figure with lots of common sense and loving support. She runs the Big Diner, the central place where the characters convene. She is a loving mother but no softie when it comes to raising her daughter, Catrina Caterpillar. Although she can be a little overprotective and sometimes too cautious, she is the one the gang turns to when they need help.
Madame Butterfly is mostly purple. She has black eyes, and a black mouth. Her antennae are black, and her wings are orange with brown, purple, and red spots. She has six legs.
Madame Butterfly has appeared in many episodes of Oswald. Her first appearance was in the episode "Rollerskating."
