Trivia[]

  • This episode is the last to be written by Dan Yaccarino.
  • Louie makes a cameo appearance in this episode. He appears as an audience member. He was supposed to be at the frozen north and would not be in Big City. This is his final appearance.
    • It is possible that this episode was produced between Odd One Out and Goodbye Best Friend, or that Louie made a temporary trip back to Big City to watch Sammy Starfish Live.
  • Catrina, Johnny Snowman, and Tinsel are absent.
  • This episode marks the final appearance of Sammy Starfish.
  • Sammy Starfish does not know who Oswald and Weenie are in this episode. However in the Pet Show, he knows there names making this a continuity error.
  • When Sammy sings the part, "Dream come true...", the characters who stand up and go back to their seats are a female paper doll that he draws on her body which is a star, Madame Butterfly, and Henry, who catches Madame Butterfly in his arms as his wings.
  • When the audience including Bingo and Roderick clap, Henry, Madame Butterfly, and Daisy don't join in, but they look at each other, feeling surprised.
  • This episode marks the only appearances of Madame Butterfly with her red hat and red necklace and the purple squid drummer himself.
  • Oswald has a chance to become a star when the tickets are sold out.
  • The episode ends when tulips are thrown onstage instead of roses, making Sammy Starfish return and welcome Oswald, the star, who takes a final bow and takes off his hat.
  • The customers have the same voices as Daisy and Oswald.
  • The major characters, Henry from Oswald's apartment, Daisy herself, and Madame Butterfly from the diner, but only in her red hat and red necklace sit in the audience, except Oswald and Weenie, who are onstage with Sammy Starfish and the purple squid drummer, who is in red circular sunglasses.
  • This marks the final appearance of the announcer from The Pet Show.
  • In this episode, the stagehand is a dressed-up gingerbread man with a red cap and blue overalls, making this his single appearance.
  • In this episode, "Extra! Extra! Read all about it! Extra! Extra! Sammy Starfish performing tonight for one night only! Get your tickets now." is said by the Bug Newsboy, except it was actually a male paper doll dressed up like one, but only with a satchel and wearing a homemade hat.
  • In this episode, Freddy is working at a ticket stand, but when the tickets are gone, he tries to search for tickets, but he sadly shows a button, which is sewn on clothes, and a donut, which is his favorite.
  • In this episode, Freddy, dressed up as a ticket man, appears in medium brown, not in light brown.

Goofs[]

  • The buttons on Roderick's body are missing when Henry says, "Hey, look at that.", Daisy says, "It's Oswald.", and Madame Butterfly says, "And Weenie.".
  • When Roderick's mouth is wide open, the buttons on his body are also missing.
